sometimes ppl give up far too early, imho.

but to rescue existing (gsoc even!) commits, we'd need better information about the current problem.
(last builds are from years ago, and might not fit today's situation)

would it be possible, to re-trigger the build bots on those ? (once) 

we'd have a far better estimate, what needs to be done, to save them from the "great garbage collector" ;)

Most of them has merge conflicts, so there is no way to start builds (all will be red).

i'm not scared of "red".
isn't that information, as well ? (at least we'd know where exactly the problem is, now).

but allright. i'll close it.

we can still try:

• make a new branch (off master)
• pull resp. commit
• fix things locally
• apply travis / conveyor for things happening not your on box
