USB audio and Pulse Input/output settings missing

I have a Sabrent USB sound card that I just put in today. After I set it up, when I go to the Audio page, I have NO options in the drop down for Pulse input or output, yet both the sound and mic work, but the sound is very low. I have tried all the DAC options on the HW tab with no change in the volume of the audio and none of them will populate the drop downs on the Audio tab. What am I doing wrong?
