Counterpart of jaeger internal metrics

Hi guys,
with the python jaeger client it was possible to receive internal jaeger metrics like the number of created and sent spans (see here). Please note, that I don't mean the OTEL Prometheus exporter and the metrics implementation, but how to receive internal statistics.

Is there any counterpart to the metrics_factory argument of the jaeger-client?
