Simple example to demonstrate e2e workflow of writing metric to the OTEL collector

Hello!
I have a OTEL collector running on the remote endpoint($ENDPOINT).
The OTEL collector has otlp receiver.

How do I use the opentelemetry-python sdk to create metric and send it to the specified endpoint?
Is there an E2E that demonstrates that?
