Baggage in auto instrumentation

Hi all
I want one field to be logged on every span of a trace ie., customer id. For that I want to use baggage. Is baggage available out of the box in auto instrumentation? Or do I need to write my own spanprocessor and attach to tracer provider? If I have to write my span processor how to get the auto trace provider ? Please let me or a good pointer would be really helpful.
