Is the ultimate goal to make a fully open source wifi card that doesn't require blobs and/or one that is as fast and more far reaching then AX protocol?

I could have sworn I asked about this once, but I couldn't find any mention of it. I almost wonder if it was deleted or not.

Rather strange... but yeah.
