Save and continue from old chats

I can save the existing chat by writing to a markdown file. However, it is currently impossible to continue where I left off if the vim or the chat is closed.

Can there be a feature to save and load old chats to continue where it left off without resetting the context window?

There’s already an extension that does this called codecompanion-history.nvim. It basically provides exactly that functionality and more.
