support macro in buffer

Seems like I cannot start recording macro in chat buffer unlike any other buffer. I don't know why. Is the q already bound to something. Anyway macros are extremely useful and one of the base of vim so hopefully we can have it

This will be because of the q mapping. You can of course remap this. My expectation is that most people won't be using macros in a codecompanion buffer.

As I want to modify keymap of chat buffer I refer to this section https://codecompanion.olimorris.dev/configuration/chat-buffer.html#keymaps
it tells me how to add a keymap, not how to remove one. If you could kindly point me what's the procedure to remove, a keymap I'd appreciate it

You can't remove as they're essential to functionality of the plugin but you can modify them.

I didn't understand from the docs but looking at the code I eventually found how to do it
Put in the chat section (I don't need uppercase Q as I use @@ so I used it)

    stop = {
      modes = {
        n = "Q",
      },
      index = 5,
      callback = "keymaps.stop",
      description = "Stop Request",
    },
  },

Maybe the default mapping could be something else than "q", something starting with "g" ? But I guess we wouldn't want to be backward incompatible and you don't see the need for macros anyway.

Another idea: the doc could point to the code on Gh so people would know the list of available actions/keymaps
