I'd like to use uptime kuma as a monitoring tool of the backups.
To make this work I'd need to do a http request only on success, and not on failure.

I can't seem to figure out how to set this up in docker compose, anyone here that has done a similar thing?

This depends on what you consider success or failure. If a step in the backup lifecycle fails / returns an error, none of the following steps and its associated commands will be run. I.e. if your command calls uptime kuma after your backup has finished (e.g. copy-post) using wget or similar, you can assume success. The only exemption from this mechanism is sending notifications, which will always happen (depending on its configuration of course).
