Lack of clear failure error messages

but it then doesn't show what it failed with, and why. Perhaps you would consider adding a more clear failure error message? Just a thought.

I'll see if this is reproducible... but I suspect it was just a one time fluke kind of issue.

FYI it indeed went away in a subsequent run.
