BT off only when adapter unplugged

Hello,
I have what seems to be an issue where I expect my headphones to disconnect once my mac goes to sleep but it does not.

macOS 15.5
Adapter Satechi V2 USB C ethernet
macbook pro 14" m4
Logitech MX master 3 for Mac (on bluetooth)

System systems:
Start screensaver when inactive : 5 mins
Require password after screen saver begins or display is turned off - 5 mins

This doesnt affect my other mac which is plugged into the same adapter and BT mouse
Apple M2 Pro
13.7.6 (22H625)

Im assuming macOS 15 does something different with BT power when in sleep?
