In 2025, we plan to upgrade the usability of obdiag. For the inspection function of obdiag, we aim to gradually transition to a Python script-driven approach.
The reasons for this change are as follows:

1. The current YAML scripts cannot accommodate more complex inspection processes.
2. Implementing complex processes in YAML is quite complicated and presents significant challenges.
3. The interaction with other functions of obdiag is limited.

The relevant changes to the obdiag plan are as follows:

1. We plan to complete support for Python scripts within two versions and produce a corresponding development manual to guide the writing standards for the new scripts. During this phase, obdiag will support both YAML and Python script scheduling modes.
2. We plan to phase out the YAML-based inspection scripts within two months after completing the Python script scheduling capabilities. The obdiag SIG will be responsible for rewriting the old YAML-based inspection scripts, with the changes marked as version 4.0.

其中对于obdiag的巡检功能，我们计划逐步变更为python脚本驱动。变更原因如下：

1. 目前的yaml脚本无法提供较为复杂的巡检流程；
2. 实现复杂流程的yaml较为复杂，实现难度较高；
3. 与obdiag其他功能的联动受限。
   

相关的obdiag计划变更如下：

1. 计划在2个版本的时间内完成python脚本的支持，并输出对应的开发手册指导新脚本的编写规范。此阶段obdiag 支持yaml和python两种脚本调度模式；
2. 计划在完成python脚本调度能力后的2个月内，下线基于yaml巡检脚本。obdiag SIG负责完成旧的基于yaml巡检脚本变更改写，变更标记为4.0版本。
