Regarding running the code for life portal on Mac

Hi Everyone, I am having an issue while running the project on my mac. While running the command "pipenv install --dev" I get an error "ERROR: Couldn't install package: pillow" I have included an ss of the error. It would be great if anyone can help me resolve this.

About the issue, can you try to delete the Pipfile.lock in that folder then try to run it again?

I assume this is codeforlife-portal repo without any modification yet to the Pipfile?

Hi @dionizh, so I tried running the same command after deleting the Pipfile.lock but after running the command it creates another Pipfile.lock and same error occurs again. Is there anything else that I can try?

@Sachdevah Do you run this inside docker? Also what's the OS? It seems that you don't have a jpeg library.

This is the list of library required to install pillow: https://pillow.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html#building-from-source. Generally they're built in (I don't recall any of us having to install them manually) but it seems not for your environment.
