Ability to Archive/remove tasks

As I go through periodic cleanup, I would love to remove or archive the tasks.

Example: (This is the result of a query below in short mode.)

• Eat lunch 📆🔗❌🗄

Thoughts:

• ❌: this would "delete" the task. Really, it would change the task to a bullet so that it no longer appears as a todo, but since it was changed to a bullet there's no loss of original data. I would use this when I recognize something wasn't really a task and more of a note.
• 🗄: Archive. Or "won't do". I would use this when I want to keep an item as a todo but it's no longer relevant. Clicking this emoji would add a global ignore filter hashtag, such as #archive" to the task description. This is a global filter for the task, preventing it from showing up in normal queries by default. Adding this functionality would likely be a big lift. The workaround would be for me to simply add a tag #archive to my task and add "does not include #archive"

The idea comes from the "global task filter #task". I'd also like a global "ignore filter" hash tag: #nottask. It's easy to filter out tasks using the query, so I could easily have the workaround.

But the power of this idea comes from the daily/weekly review. If I could look down the list of tasks and click a button to delete or archive it'd make the process seamless!

Thank you for the suggestion. I believe that there is at least one existing one for being able to delete tasks via results.

There are also some plugins for archiving completed tasks.

A minor nit-pick (😀 ) - I would not expect an X icon to leave the text in place. I feel that something that looks like a delete button should do the deletion. Otherwise, I fear a load of support requests saying that 'delete is broken'. So probably a different icon might be considered, but it doesn't change the basic idea.
