Card View.

It would be great if we have a feature to support card view. I have done it using Kanban like below:

It doesn't allow me to check and uncheck the tasks or click on the edit button.

Hi @pgyogesh, I agree, it would be lovely to have a card view of tasks that supports Tasks features.

I tried reproducing this, and wasn't able to edit in the second and later lines. What's the trick please?

shift+enter takes you to the new line or you can write a code block somewhere else and copy-paste it into the Kanban card.

I believe Canvas can be used for this?

Sort of... Some users do that, but there are some notable limitations:

1. it doesn't provide the facility to drag tasks from one "column to another".
2. And because Obsidian doesn't tell code-blocks in Canvas cards what the path to the canvas file is, plugins like Tasks cannot access the path of the canvas file, which breaks some features of Tasks:
   • See Query for all tasks in the query's path, folder, filename etc does not work in canvas cards #2971

Are you aware of the cardboard plugin? It works very well with obsidian-tasks.
