Provide a cleanup hotkey

Provide a hotkey that moves a completed task under the cursor in edit mode to the very bottom of the current note, with a mobile toolbar option for the action as well.

This could get messy with indentation, I guess, but let the user figure that out!

I'm looking at moving my tasks into obsidian. The main blocker is cleaning up deleted tasks. A page with thousands of done tasks is not going to scale wrt to usability.

For the edge cases, I would be quite happy if only top level tasks were "cleaned up". Either when the top level is marked done or when it and all its subtasks are done. However, if a top level task is marked done, for me, the semantic would be that all subtasks are auto marked as done.

BTW, I will almost certainly not use subtasks. I just want a simple task system that integrates with my daily note. For projects I use other tooling (eg, jira and like).

I was thinking about the markdown/edit view getting too cluttered. I created a "view" page with queries that show only non-completed tasks. But maybe that plugin would obviate the need for the view page.

The "Competed Area" plugin gives a workaround on this. In edit mode, I can hit the sidebar button for that plugin to move completed tasks to a "Completed" heading at the bottom of the note. There are a couple of little issues, but it works pretty well.

I'd be happy with a setting to delete a recurring task when the new one is generated. If you have a daily task, there is no use to saving completed tasks and it becomes clutter.

@kmaustral you can use the Archiver plugin to automate this for you. https://github.com/ivan-lednev/obsidian-task-archiver and in the approved repo you can search from within Obsidian.

Thanks @jchoyt Currently, Archiver does not customise DONE status apart from [x]. So it will archive all tasks apart from [ ]. It's a fairly blunt instrument now that we have status names.
