group tasks by inline parameter or tag?

Hi I've been using DataView to group tasks based on inline parameter, I wonder if there is a way to do the same with Tasks plugin? Perhaps using tags?

At the moment, one would need to do a manual search to achieve this, which could get tedious depending on how many tags you have.

I have been experimenting with implementing a grouping mechanism to submit to this plugin.

The first release will include grouping by simple things like file path.

@schemar and I have talked about what grouping by tag might look like, so your example is very useful.

I had presumed that we would want to look for some kind of prefix to the tags to group (such as #context/home, #context/work etc - which might be grouped with headings home and work)

Your example shows that a more general mechanism, that groups by the whole tag, would be worth having.

There are some things to figure out. We would need to figure out what to do if a task had more than one tag in it, for example.

I need to set expectation levels...
It's taking me longer than I hoped to get the basic group by code ready to submit.
Only after then will I be able to think about grouping by tag, and please note I'm doing this in my spare time...
