With the new method of putting feature requests into Issues how do we upvote the ones we personally feel are most important?

In Discussions I culd easily give an upvote to the ones I need and also see what you are likely working on. Now it's all hidden.

There aren't any emoji's in the initial post. Take a look at this one #1378

Here's the screen capture (2 files, sorry it's along post) of the first post and I don't see a thumbs up anywhere.

Nothing in there at all that looks like thumbs up until you get down into the comments. Certainly nothing on the first post in that issue at all that I can see. Where is it and what am I missing?

FWIW I just did a quick look at at 10 different issues and I don't see a thumbs up in ANY of them. In fact I have yet to find a thumbs up in ANY of the issues I've looked at although I haven't done an exhaustive search of them all.

Big problem for me is there no way to easily see what's on top number/request wise in a clean table like view. I realy liked it in discussions becaue I could scroll down and see the status of each one quickly. Even better would be a way to sort them in descending order by numbers of requests.

The way it is now I have to go into each and every one of the 70 or so issues and try to figure out what is most requested and hope that all of them actually have the thumbs up emoji in there somewhre I can select.

You need to click the smiley in the top right corner first. This is just jow GitHub works. You can also sort the list of issues by "most reactions with thumbs up".

Thanks, I am not an emoji person at all so I never even think to click on stuff like a smiley icon it just doesn’t even register.

When I add them they are old school :-)

Next question, Will feature requests currentyly in Discussions eventually move to the issues and retain their upvote status/count?
