Create / Edit ask dialog improvements - dates

It would be great to have helpers on date inputs (due, scheduled, start):

• date picker
• buttons for quick filling "today", "tomorrow" (possibly others, maybe with a defined template?)

Would love to see that. Could be used in the create/add dialog and when clicking on the date icons in the task line.

Bumping this discussion. I would really appreciate a date picker. Often I need to schedule a task for a specific day couple of weeks from now but I don't know what day exactly. Inputs like "third tuesday from now" doesn't work and even if it would, it is still better to have a date picker to see visually what days are available.

@janhink Hi, once you've had a chance to read the Twitter thread above, one way that you could do what it suggests would be to find a few other Obsidian plugins that have similar functionality to what you would like, such as calendar-based date-pickers...

You could then let us know (with links) of the plugins that you find that have the kind of functionality, and ideally tell us how to use that functionality in them - so we don't have to learn how to use the plugins first.

This would help someone find ideas for how to implement the functionality you are looking for, and will be far more effective in supporting your cause than 'bumping' and similar.
