Some hook for task creation/edit?

Probably very niche, but I was wondering if there's been any consideration for some kind of hook that can be used to do something on task creation/edit? Specifically, it would be very nice if I could create a daily note (if one doesn't exist) for a task's due date automatically. I could give it a shot myself, but not sure if this is something someone has already solved or thinks is a terrible/impossible idea. Thank you!

Hi, no, that's not something that exists. There have been various requests for more events and hooks around Tasks, but nobody has implemented.

But if you mean to use Tasks for daily-note file creation, I would see that as the job of other templates, not Tasks.
