After updates in iOS: "quit and restart", "reload vault" ...? #3385
-
Each Tasks plugin update release notes used to ask to "quit and restart" after updating. This is easy to do in e.g. macOS, but not in iOS, where the only possibility is rather a force quit and is supposed to be done only on unresponsive apps - which makes me think that Obsidian probably gets killed without a chance to save changes. The last update 7.18.3 of the Tasks plugin changed its ask to "reload the vault". Now, Obsidian offers a similar-sounding command named "Reload app without saving" - still scary but at least now it's an Obsidian command, so it's slightly better defined I guess. Is that command enough after a plugin update in iOS? I found an old issue discussing this (#2410), but it didn't clarify the iOS aspect nor whether "Reload app..." would suffice. |
