Clearing Due Dates for Overdue Tasks

Unfortunately, my to do list has overwhelmed me, and I have many tasks that are overdue. I was thinking that it would be nice to be able to just clear all due dates on overdue tasks, no matter where they are found in my vault. Alternatively, just to be able to bulk change due dates on overdue tasks

My first thought was some kind of search/replace performed across the whole vault, but then I noticed that the Tasks documentation has a scripting section (although it looks like it primarily supports query) and an api section (although I'm not fluent in js).
