Move the count of tasks to the top of the display without doing a separate query?

Is it possible to change the location of the report of the number of tasks that meet a certain query without resorting to having 2 separate queries that are almost the same?

This code works to show all tasks that meet the criteria and at the end there is a list of number of tasks that qualify.

is not blocked
(starts before tomorrow )
(path does not include 05.01_Hold_Projects )
tag includes AnimalTrakker 
tag does not include Bug
short mode

The display of the number is at the bottom as 122 tasks for example.

If I add this additional query before the query block shown above I get the number of tasks displayed as 0 of 122 tasks first then my regular query that actually shows the tasks and the same 122 tasks at the end.

Hi @OogieM, feel free to make a feature request for this. I think with larger numbers of search results it is a good idea.

I let it drop for a while hoping it might have made it into the Tasks already but it hasn't yet. I tried to figure out how to move this into the issues where new feature requests are supposed to go, or to add the feature request flag but I can't. I was going to copy and paste this into a new Issue but I can’t get past the check to be sure this issue isn’t in discussions. Is there any way you can move it so it's properly in the Issues as a feature request per your suggestion above?

Hi Oogie, I really appreciate your noting the checkbox - but I have some good news for you.

As a Q&A, this is not found by the link on that checkbox. And is not tracked for future consideration.

Hence my suggestion to make a feature request.
