is there a way to make the create date and done date auto set?

I want the create date auto set when create it. And same with done date. I don't want to type the details of create/done date.
There nearly no room for text after you add create/done in that line

And what's more, I don't want the create/done date things shown in the normal text. Just shown in the tasks dataview. Or make a switch to en/disable it.

tasks dataview mean read mode. Forget it.

I want to know Any way to hide the 'create date' like metadata. It exists but hide. Can I write a css for this?

thanks but it seems works just in rendered mode. I usually in preview mode.
