Dinamic filters as dataview #276

Hey @Maurbj, Thank you for the idea! First, to manage expectations: tasks will not become a dataview clone. Tasks will stay simple on purpose. Let me recap to make sure I understand you correctly: With the way Tasks works currently, this would be difficult. We would need to track all links from the file where the task is contained. We don’t really analyze the whole file at the moment. We go through it once (line by line), remembering the last heading, for example, but we don’t have more context. While I like the idea and I think it would be a cool feature for task management, I don’t think that is something that could be added to the Tasks plugin anytime soon. Could you maybe elaborate a little more on your workflow? Maybe we can find another solution together 😄 |

Hi,
I would like to create templates that includes view on tasks on the notes that are linked to this note. Right now I have to manually update the filter of path includes .
I can crerate a unique tag for all this files but I don't want to end with a bunch of tags.
I can do it with Dataview plugin but the when i check a task from this view it does not put the compeltion date.
The ideal is to have some commands as dataview as this.file.inlinks or the posibility to check in a dataview query with the completion dates.
