Shortened backlinks and preview when hovering over them

Hello! Thanks for the awesome work!

I wanna add to the discussion on #585 and especially #161 about shortened backlinks for less clutter. The problem of those two threads got solved by introducing the short mode, which is great in its own right, but id still love to see my due dates and the other things, but only have an icon for the backlink as its still often handy to be able to navigate to the file the task is coming from. So a query for that would be something like hide backlinks but show icon, so that the icon is still clickable and maybe even hoverable, like Links in general are.

What do you think?

Backlinks can already be styled

What you request is already possible with styling and is documented - see https://publish.obsidian.md/tasks/How+To/How+to+style+backlinks

For future reference, new Ideas now go in Issues please

As per the title of this section - Ideas: Any New Feature Requests go in Issues please, we don't track feature requests in Discussions any more.

(Bugs have always been tracked in Issues.)

Here are some of the reasons why the need for this change:

I had to leave Ideas Discussions open to allow people to comment on existing ideas, and so we could track their votes, so I renamed the section to try to point people to Ideas instead for new reports.
