In #2141 (comment) I asked:

  1. I am unclear about which of the many parts of Tasks you are talking about...
    Are you talking about changing the Emoji?
    Or are you talking about when looking at Tasks search results?
    Or when viewing your tasks in Reading mode?

Apologies for the delay. I would like to change the emoji in use in my markdown files. Not a green one, as it's too bright.

Now that I know this is about changing the symbol used in the Markdown, as opposed to rendering, I'm:

  • marking this as Answered
  • labelling it as Not planned
  • Closing it

The workaround for those who don't like emoji is the use Dataview format support in Tasks.
