Custom fields in tasks

Can we support custom fields in tasks. These fields could be represented using data-view format or a custom emoji as a setting in task plugin.

E.g. of where this is useful and how it can be used in data-view syntax
Where we want to record how much time we spent on certain tasks
- [/] Do the thing [time-logged-in-hrs:: 23]
Where we want to record how much money we spend on a purchase
- [x] Buy milk [cost-in-$:: 5], [done:: 2023-06-13]

List of custom fields can be added in task view settings page and could show up on "create or edit task" modal.

Hi, that's not possible at the moment, but it's a great idea. And the code is gradually moving to the stage where it might become doable.....

It would really help if you could go to Issues -> New -> 'Feature Request' and fill in the form, so that your idea will be tracked and not lost.
