After upgrading "not done" filter stopped working. Reinstalled Tasks and it works again

How odd. That’s a very core filter, so if it’s genuinely a bug I expect other people will report it.

Did you definitely restart Obsidian after updating?

Tasks definitely does not behave well after updating until Obsidian is restarted.

Hence warnings in the bug report template, the docs and all the release announcements about needing to restart Obsidian after updating Tasks.

The problem with re-installing is that you have to recreate all your Tasks settings. Did you do that?

Yeah I restarted. I also started to run through the bug report process y’all wrote. I created a sandbox vault and it worked there. Then I went back to my vault, disabled every other plug-in and switched to the default theme, but still saw the same problem. So then I tried reinstalling (it’s worked for a couple other lugins before) and ✨🪄.

Wow, OK well I'm very glad you got it working again.

If it happens again and you are on a desktop machine, maybe check the console. View -> Toggle Developer Tools.

I did actually! 🙂 I tried to trigger some console report by creating the filter and watching for a response, but I didn't see anything pop up.
