How is task query HTML rendered inside the editor (at least in live preview)? Is it custom HTML or provided with or by the API?

I have lots of custom CSS for my Obsidian vault, including all the markdown formats, and noticed for the most part at least, it doesn't apply to the text, checkboxes, and links in task queries. Did the dev(s) of the plugin write their own HTML to show in live preview (or use a 3rd party library or framework), or is HTML created by / with the Obsidian API, which makes it the way it is, if that makes sense?

I mean for task queries, how does the Tasks plugin generate what shows up for the query in a note in live preview mode? Does that make sense or should I rephrase it again?

In LivePreview it uses this code to show Tasks query blocks:

If you are wanting to do more styling, your best bet is to wait a day or two until Tasks 3.0.0 is released, after which the following new styling facilities will become available:
