Is there a way to turn off the appending of "date done"?

I'd like to be able to toggle off this function:

A "done" task will have the date it was done appended to the end of its line. For example: ✅ 2021-04-09 means the task was done on the 9th of April, 2021.

Thank you for the idea. It is currently not possible. Do you think it should be a “global” config setting of Tasks?

I think so. For me, it really clutters my graph, giving me too many links to me daily notes. Although I can see that it could be very useful in many cases.

I think it would be handy, if we could hide it with CSS or something. For me that would be enough.

This has been done at some point. There is a setting to turn off the addition of Done date.
