Is there a way to filter by a custom status?

Is it possible to query a task by a custom status?

What I mean?

Minimal for example has a custom icon list for done tasks: https://minimal.guide/Block+types/Checklists

I'm wondering if Obsidian Tasks has a way to filter by those done status.

Something like:

done
line includes I

done
status is I

I saw similar tasks talking about task-status, but I am not talking about the option of have those status, but if is there a current hackish way to filter them.

I can imagine how much of work it can be.

But, if you make the states agnostic, wouldn't reduce the work?

I mean, if you consider any task with a character between the brackets as a completed task: /^- \[.\]/, without care about what's the state that it's in use.

I'm saying this because it seems that the thread is requesting much more things than needed.

Obsidian Tasks is already a fantastic plugin, I'm not sure if Obsidian Tasks should care about how the line will be displayed in case of state A/B/C, or what are the possible states that a task can have.

IMHO:

1. How a checklist will appear in case of completed as x or / or -, ..., should be in charge of a template, or custom CSS of each user.
2. What are the possible states that a user can use, I think that shouldn't matter, the user should be able to use whatever he wants in the checklist.

What matters is have ways to filter those states.

I think that following this thought, the scope would be reduced, and the plugin would be much more expansible in comparison with having a limitation of the number of possible states.

I'm just wondering if restricting the possible states and also generating the CSS for each one of them, you won't just reinventing the wheel.

Sorry, I don't have the capacity to answer those two messages now. All will be revealed in due course when I feel that the features are good enough to release and well enough documented.

If I release it before it is reliable enough, I will be deluged with user support questions that I would not be able to cope with.
