Integration with the calendar plugin

Would it be possible to show tasks or the number of tasks or something similar in the calendar plugin?

This feature can be very useful, especially if it can be somewhat integrated with the Calendar feature of showing the number of tasks within a specific daily note when hovering on a specific date.

I gotta check out the plugin and then talk to Liam about what’s possible. Maybe I could optionally control the dots below the date. And, yes, add more details on hover 🤔 Good idea.

For extending the calendar in v2: You would want to create your own "source" based on https://github.com/liamcain/obsidian-calendar-plugin/blob/version-2.0/src/ui/sources/tasks.ts. Then to register it with the plugin, you can listen for the calendar:open event on the workspace and add your source to the list of sources passed in the event ctx. (https://github.com/liamcain/obsidian-calendar-plugin/blob/f5c39c4e4a4ddc8c111d5f992c7976a711fa2e09/src/view.ts#L78)
