I found one case to represent the issue. The term ACTINE:
A. DEFINED differently for CALCAREA and for DEMOSPONGIAE- On page 26 of the THESAURUS, under CALCAREA, ACTINE is defined as a "ray of a spicule", on page 42, under spicules of Demospongiae, actine is defined as "a centered ray contining an axis or an axial canal". Therefore we have one term or class that is used to interpret two different structures.
B. USED in different conceptual context look below: other problem with ACTINE is that it is used to refer to the morphology of the ends of monoaxonic spicules in demospongia. So monoaxonic spicules in DEMOSPONGIAE are denominated monoactineal (with one pointed end and the other end different, i.e, styles, tylostyles,ec), and DIACTINEAL (two equal ends- strongyle, oxea), You can not find the definition of monoactineal or diactinea in the thesaurus, but if you look for example at the term DIOD for HOMOSCLEROMORPHA, it is defined as a "diactineal spicule....".
