I host my own Palworld server on a Linux VM running Application Management Panel (AMP). I've downloaded my save files to my Windows PC while the server was shut down. I made a back up of the saves and them deleted them from the server. After editing them in PSP and uploading them to the server directories, the changes are not seen in game. I'm using the latest standalone Windows PSP.exe version. I reopened the save file I previously edited in PSP and the changes still appear there. Any ideas as to what's going on here? |

For anyone else using AMP, the container near instantly replicates/replaces the save files as you're deleting them, so it isn't entirely evident that it is happening as the GUI shows that they are gone. It doesn't matter if the game server or container is shut down, it still happens. To get around it, just upload the edited files to overwrite the current ones. Make sure you have backups first of course. |
