It is because network failure? When I try to download packages from github, I meet it sometimes.

could very well be (especially if you know you have unstable network connection)

otherwise it could perhaps just be a faulty package in which the package would need to be known

Can we specific a token to speed up access of github like NixOS/nix#6536 ?

afaict this is just about access to private repositories. Not sure how that would speed things up?

Github has limit for anonymous access. I notice https://nvchecker.readthedocs.io/en/latest/usage.html#configuration-table use keyfile speed up the downloading.

When I download these rocks and python -m http.server and add http:127.0.0.1:8000/ to lux's extra_servers, the network failure never occur.
