How useful is neorg outside of Nvim?

I really want to get in to neorg it looks incredible!
But one thing holding me back that i think no one else will be able to see what I'm writing..Am i wrong?
Markdown for example , anyone can parse markdown, and understand the contents.
But with neorg , outside of nvim , to someone not knowing, it's just a funky looking markdown file.
