Problem with compiler

Hello.
I wanted to try this firmware, I have docker and it's running correctly.
I start the compilation but after a while it hangs with the following error message:

ERROR: failed to build: failed to solve: process "/bin/sh -c git submodule update --init --recursive" did not complete successfully: exit code: 128 Unable to find image 'uvk5:latest' locally docker: Error response from daemon: pull access denied for uvk5, repository does not exist or may require 'docker login': denied: requested access to the resource is denied

I'm pretty new to Docker and I don't know what to do.
Any hint?

Ok, it seems I understood: the repo hadn't been initialized, so there was no .git directory and this caused the error.
Now it worked and I have a "compiled firmware" directory containing the "firmware.bin" file which I'm supposed to load on my Quansheng.

Unfortunately, when I try to flash the radio it returns a failed CRC check.
In the final step of compilation I get

IndexError: list index out of range
arm-none-eabi-size firmware
make: [Makefile:432: all] Error 1 (ignored)
text data bss dec hex filename
55820 64 7056 62940 f5dc firmware

nonetheless I have a firmware.bin file.

I go on answering myself :-)
I fixed the error by editing the fw-pack.py file and replacing the wrong out of range index with the correct one.
