Windows Spotlight disabled in Tiny11? #378

Hey guys - can it be that the Windows Spotlight Feature is disabled in Tiny11? I did some googeling... the registry is missing the entire HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CloudContent node/key where a bunch of values for Spotlight should be included. And is there an easy way to "reinstall" the feature without having to other removed services like OneDrive? |

Yes, windows spotlight is part of what is disabled in the script, this is intentional as windows spotlight is another avenue for Microsoft serves ads. You can absolutely reinstall spotlight. I believe it's downloadable from the microsoft store. |

I see - thanks for the clarification/confirmation @TheBeardofKnowledge! The genuine spotlight app/feature is not downloadable... but there are alternatives like "Dynamic Theme" I ended up using now. Maybe that's the better way after all - getting the functionality but not exposing yourself to any Microsoft marketing scrap 👍 |
