nooba status

I recently discovered the nooba project as I am looking for a project to offer S3 api for on-prem deployments inside Kubernetes. I see that there is activity in the core and operator repos but most of the docs links are broken. So, I can't tell if there is any kind of slack or similar channel for the project. I see old (2-4 yr old) youtube videos. I am curious

• Is this project still actively maintained?
• Is the project open to external contribution?
• Have you even considered turning this into a CNCF sandbox project?
