Why can't I simply use a URL | string when using Agent | RetryAgent | Client | ...?

It is very painful to always have to break up already properly built URL to make a simple request.

Can you provide steps to reproduce? We often need a reproducible example, e.g. some code that allows someone else to recreate your problem by just copying and pasting it. If it involves more than a couple of different file, create a new repository on GitHub and add a link to that.

If you want that handled for you, you can use the top-level request function:

That's the way I ended up doing it, I was just wondering why it is surfaced on the top API of request but not nested ones.
