[question] automatically xsm -s

How can I run xsm-s automatically when the system shutdown / reboot / logout?

I'm using raspberry pi OS 32bit Lite and gnome

I've searched for this question many times. No working solution found.

xsm relies on Xorg, which means it only works in a Xorg session and needs a display to get windows information.

Some possible solutions:

• systemd

For me, it's a reminder that I should save all opening windows before calling it a day. 🤣

I'm already working on this issue, resolving it by creating a Gnome shell extension.
