Documentation and Nitro Apps

This isn't in the documentation, so I find myself digging through code to try and find the answer.

My app architecture is SPA + API. There is evidence that vinxi can handle api via the http type as exported by Nitro. How can I embed an existing Nitro app as route? The way I read things, the only exposure possible is the single handler file and eventHandler(). is this correct?
