Run Test Migration

When running the command, devopsmigration.exe execute -c configuration_xxx.json what is the command to run a test migration to validate settings? I thought it was --validate or --validation or something like that.

There has never been a validation option. We do intend to add one in the future...

What would be your advice to be able to run these tools as a test without moving data? If I were to have a "Test" project created on the target Organization and perform a migration to it, will I be able to run this tool again to the "Live" project on the target Organization? This isn't a one time shot at it, is it?

No changes are made to the source. You can do as many "migrations" as your like.

This is basically, what I do. I create a test project in DevOps and migrate into it. Then I validate as much as I do if everything is OK. If not, I will change something and migrate again. When I am happy, I will create real project and do final migration into it.
