Deleted attachment and comments in source is not reflected in target

I am running on-going daily delta migration while waiting the team to be ready to switch to target ADO boards.

I notice that delete action is not getting migrated, for ex:

• Source WorkItemX having comment A & attachment 1
• During initial migration - target WorkItemX will have comment A & attachment 1
• Then source WorkItemX gets comment A & attachment 1 deleted, then user added comment B & attachment 2
• Rerunning migration will result in target WorkItemX to have comment A + B, and attachment 1+2. I would expect target to have comment B & attachment 2 only.

1. Is there any configuration to bring the deletion to target?
2. Also I see comment's update is getting migrated as a new comment instead of replacing existing target comment, would like to know if any configuration to do replacement instead?

Both these issues are not currently supported.

• We do not delete attachments
• The TFS Object Model does not support deleting comments.
