Columns incorrect after migration

I can successfully move the items I want to a new project - however two issues exist for me

1. Is there a way to get the Board columns created automatically (so far i have done this manually first)
2. It is not placing the work items in all the correct columns even though they exist, it seem to move some to the right column

Any advice would be appreciated thanks

There is currently no support for Board Column. The field will migrate, but unless the new board has identical column names work items will not match up.
