dap-go doesn't seem to work

I've been trying to figure out how to enable dap-go, and even with nothing other than the following:

plugins.dap.enable = true;
plugins.dap-go.enable = true;

Trying to start debugging hits me with Error on launch: Failed to launch. The logs available through :DapShowLog aren't much help either, just stating "process exit".

I'm using the 25.05 release, and I have confirmed it still occurs on the latest commit to that branch.
