Can't get key notations to work for colemak

Hey everyone,
First time AeroSpace user here.
I've read through the guide and the default config file. Basically the only changes I did are commenting some configs that I don't need, and more importantly enabling the key notation for colemak:

However, the key notation doesn't appear to work. It still handles the keys as regular qwerty. I know that aerospace is reading the config file correctly, because if I put a misconfiguration in the file, it complains of it.

Not sure what I might be missing.
