Add metrics and logs to help debug sluggish behavior

Sometimes Aerospace seems to slow down for me (especially first thing in the morning) where each workspace switch can take up to a second or more and the switches gets queued up where it'll flash multiple switches at once.

I am hoping to add a feature for Aerospace to include some logs to help narrow down the issue?

You can take a snapshot of running AeroSpace instance by using Instruments.app to capture the hang and attach the snapshot

Use either CPU Profiler or Time profiler in Instruments.app template. You can also instruct it to capture last N seconds and keep working until you observe the hang.

Instruments.app comes bundled with Xcode. Just install Xcode from the App Store

Sorry for the late reply, a combination of not too bad hangs and busy work made me shelf this for a while.

I did manage to get some profiles on when it hangs and here is what I see, at a high level can you help check if the numbers seems inline with what we should expect? I am very new to profiling and willing to learn, if there are issues that can be diagnosed with these I'll go into it, just figured I double check so I don't try to find bugs when there is no issue. Please attach the snapshot file. The hangs on your screenshot look like a good optimization target
