Is there a way to rename workspaces in the drop-down menu?

I've been on Linux for a decade+ and got a Mac recently, and am happy I found this project exists to try and get me close to my i3 config! Therefore this question might be dumb...

I'm not sure how to avoid having all my workspaces named Built-in Retina Display.

actually, that's not your workspace name, it is the name of monitor that workspace assigned to.

Retina is macOS built-in display. You can get all names via list-monitors.

Your workspace name is 1, 2, etc.
